Mark Kiefaber brings twenty-five years of experience in targeted innovation, leadership coaching and development, managing stress, avoiding burnout, and managing organization change. He has internal large organization experience as both a Marketing Manager and Senior Management Consultant with Citicorp. Mr. Kiefaber co-founded Focus Leadership in 1994. He is also a core faculty member of Oliver Wyman's Delta Executive Learning Center, and has been an adjunct faculty member of Columbia University's Executive Education Programs for 15 years. In the early 1990's, he was a consultant with W. Warner Burke Associates, Inc. and, prior to that, a senior associate at The Center for Creative Leadership. He has worked with numerous clients, including Ford Motor Co., Miliken Textiles, Shell Canada, Merck, NASA, the Japanese Management Association, British Airways, Procter and Gamble, XL Capital, Florida Power & Light, Novartis, and New York Life.
Mr. Kiefaber is an invited speaker at many national conferences, including the annual meetings of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He has also appeared as an expert guest on many national television programs including CNN, NBC's "Today Show? and ABC's "Good Morning America."
Mark is a master practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the FIRO-B, the Herrmann Brain Dominance Indicator, the DiSC, and the Kiefaber Paradigm Preference Indicator. Together with Ginny Whitelaw, he has developed the Focus Energy Balance Indicator™ (FEBI™), which measures one's use of four basic energy patterns. He graduated from Loyola College in Maryland with both B.A. and M.A. degrees in Clinical Psychology.
